Warehouse Associate - 1st shift Inventory

Overview

The Crystal Lake Distribution Center is in need of a Warehouse Associate for Inventory Control. Will work as needed in any department. To load and unload trucks, put stock in storage and operate lift trucks. Pick and pack product. Physically count and verify stock. 1st shift for Inventory Control. Hours 5:45am-2:15pm. MUST BE FORKLIFT CERTIFIED.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, and stores freight using electric and LP forklift trucks or hand pallet jacks
• Receives inventory by visually comparing stock and quantity against a receiving document
• Counts and verifies stock in picking and reserve locations
• Processes customer orders by picking stock
• Packs stock into shipping cartons
• Operates Hand Bander, Stretch Wrap Machine, computerized UPS machines, computer terminals, etc.

Qualifications

• Must be forklift certified
• Ability to read, write, and do simple math
• Computer knowledge
• Working knowledge of the product center operations
• Knowledge of LN, ODS & WMS computer systems.
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Dependable & flexible
• Ability to lift 35 pounds
• Preferred experience in warehousing, material handling, shipping/receiving and forklift experience
• High school diploma or equivalent.
