Position Summary

We are currentlty looking for an experienced cook to be a part of the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook nutritious and appetizing meals for residents in accordance with dietary restrictions and preferences
• Adhere to standardized recipes, portion control, and quality standards to ensure consistency in food preparation
• Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences of residents
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Monitor and record food temperatures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Communicate effectively with kitchen team, dietary staff, and other facility personnel
• Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on food safety protocols and facility policies
• Contribute to a positive dining experience for residents by providing high-quality and well-presented meals
