The Senior Clinical Educator is responsible for developing, onboarding, training, and education programs and curricula in support of Providence Health Plan workforce development needs. This position is also accountable for identifying best practices and establishing standards for all elements of the programs for which they are responsible. Develops, delivers and implements effective training programs for both new hires and current caregivers. Participates in the quality and auditing process as directed by management. Demonstrates a high level of integrity and innovative thinking and actively contributes to the success of the team.

  • This position is affiliated with Providence Health Plan and will be tied to a location and compensation range in Portland, Oregon

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or other healthcare related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and work experience
  • Oregon: Registered Nurse License -OR- Oregon: Clinical Licensure aligned with education (RN, PA, LPC, LCSW, etc.)
  • 5 years - Clinical experience
  • 2 years - Clinical education in healthcare setting or related field
  • 4 years - Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Forms
  • 3 years - Care Management or Case Management experience

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master's Degree - Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Social Work, or health care related field
  • Coursework/Training - Clinical licensure: Medical or Behavioral Health (RN, PA, LPC, LCSW, etc.)
  • 4 years - Health care auditing experience
  • 2 years - Managed Care or Health Plan direct experience
