As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Site in Maspeth, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a leading food and beverage location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all employees and visitors. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the food and beverage location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or authorizations of individuals entering the premises.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors to provide assistance and information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
