About the role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer/Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing applications using modern technologies and a passion for innovation. As a Senior Software Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, modern and cloud-native applications that leverage the latest in cloud technology.

FIS® Private Capital Suite (formerly Investran), our award-winning private equity fund accounting software and reporting solution, unifies fragmented data, automates complex processes, and supports smarter accounting while reducing costs, errors and pressure on your team.

What you will be doing:

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using modern cloud technologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in software development.

• Proficiency in programming languages and modern technologies (C#, .NET Framework, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Transact-SQL, Rabbit, REDIS, REST APIs, Git, GitHub Copilot).

• Proficiency in writing automated tests to verify functionality and application performance (NUnit, Jasmine, JMeter)

• Experience with cloud-native technologies (Azure, Kubernetes, Docker)

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience with agile development methodologies.

• Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., Azure Developer Associate).

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $99,830.00 - $167,700.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
