About the role
As a Technical Assistance Lead, you will collaborate with team members virtually to support primary care practices or specialty care providers through the development and execution of educational guidance documents, live events, on-demand videos, and newsletter/email blast communications as they participate in pilot programs being tested by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
Typical hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Essential Functions
- Operational Support - Serves as subject matter expert to internal and external customers. Utilizes knowledge and expertise to research and resolve issues in a timely manner to the customer’s satisfaction. Provides collaboration, communication, and coordination with internal team, clients, project managers, project leads, and/or contractors. Communicates efficiently and effectively to project team. Provides direction to internal team and/or project team including research, problem resolution and support in completing project/contract deliverables.
- Project Tasks – Provides input based on subject, program and product knowledge to the business and functional requirements for software products and services, including enhancements. Completes tasks and deliverables on time.
- Requirements Analysis - Provides input to the business and functional requirements for the software products and services, including enhancements based on program and product expertise. Provides subject matter expertise to align program requirements with product requirements. Provides final reviews of business and functional requirements as requested. Coordinates all information provided by team members in order to provide the compiled input to the appropriate customer.
- Client Management - Perform client needs analysis and assessment. Manages client expectations and relationships. Ensures programs and related products and services meet and exceed client expectations by overseeing activities on a daily basis. Interacts with customers and partners including other contractors to ensure successful completion of tasks. Coordinates with managers to ensure positive client relationships and that expectations align with contract specific requirements.
- Project/Product Validation and Delivery – Assists with managing and monitoring project deliverables associated with assigned projects throughout the entire project life cycle to ensure timely completion of tasks. Provides subject matter expertise for product level validation to identify issues and recommend changes if needed. Completes tasks and deliverables on time.
- Documentation - Creates, updates, and reviews documentation and provides input for clarification and detail, ensuring information is accurate, thorough, and follows established processes and compliance requirements (i.e. 508 compliance standards). Provides final review of documents prior to Manager review and approval. Ensures documentation is distributed to team members, end users, and/or customers in a timely manner.
- Training - Reviews training materials. Identifies where additional information is needed, and the most effective mode of creating and communicating that information. Coordinates and facilitates live or recorded training sessions. Performs knowledge-sharing presentations to internal and external customers. Provides information and data at customer request, including the creation of training or debriefing materials.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in business, health care, IT, and/or equivalent training and/or experience
- 5-7 years of related experience in a related field
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, healthcare quality improvement, healthcare information management and/or healthcare information technology (HIT)
- Advanced knowledge and experience working with Windows, all Microsoft Office products, and other PC-based software products; Intermediate knowledge and experience with database applications, data trending/graphics, and reporting tools.

- The estimated salary range in the state of Colorado is approximately $94,000 to $110,000 annually with actual compensation determined by candidate education, experience, as well as internal equity.
