JUNIOR ASSOCIATE - FINANCE OPERATIONS - MAS LEGATO (PVT) LTD

MAS Legato is the Shared Service arm of MAS Holdings, currently focused on Finance and HR and looking to expand into more functions within the organization. Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the MAS Legato team as a Junior Associate – Finance Operations to execution of timely & accurate processing of financials for assigned Clients, to consistently exceed the expectations of the customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out credit payable activities and ensure proper mechanisms are put in place to settle money within the set credit period.
• Achieve monthly targets for Goods Receipt / Invoice Receipt and advances in assigned SBUs in order to meet organizational demands.
• Execute recovery activities and ensure proper follow-up mechanisms are put in place to recover money within the set credit period.
• Ensure discrepancies are followed-up and resolved prior to the month end closure. Maintain proper documentation of follow up efforts.
• Ensure receipts are cleared in keeping with the SLA.
• Prepare any ad hoc reports / analysis as requested and facilitate informed decision making within the organization.
• Ensure SOP's are kept up to date.
• Active involvement in knowledge sharing initiatives within the department.
• Active involvement in continuous improvement initiatives within the department, whilst suggesting and implementing same.
• Support team with audit requirements and ensure they are fulfilled to meet business demands.
• Provide necessary management information reports for decision making.
• Build good work relationships with relevant internal and external parties.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• An undergraduate or Graduate in CIMA, ACCA or ICASL or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Good communication skills in English and Sinhala.
• Working experience in the relevant field would be an added advantage.
