We’re looking for someone to join our team as a Projects & Communications Intern focused on employer branding projects and process improvement. Working closely with the Director, Projects and Process Partner, team members, and customers, you will help with projects involving employer branding, marketing plans, and people practices.
Who we are
The SEI helps advance software engineering principles and practices and serves as a national resource in software engineering, computer security, and process improvement. Our teams work closely with defense and government organizations, industry, and academia to continually improve software-intensive systems. Its core purpose is to help organizations improve software engineering capabilities and develop or acquire the right software, defect-free, within budget and on time, every time.
Our HR team supports the people of the SEI and all people-related operations.
Duties:
Help develop our employer brand and a marketing plan to reinforce it
Develop writing plans for marketing jobs
Revamp & create internal wiki pages
Assist with the portfolio of projects across the team
Collaborate with the HR team and members of the SEI to build out our hiring identity, coordinate change, and help develop projects
Requirements:
Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree granting program, preferably experience with marketing and writing
Able to work an internship schedule during the summer semester.
Able to come on-site to the SEI Pittsburgh office a few days per week.
Candidates will be subject to a background check.
