The anticipated pay range for this role is as follows: $22.75 Hourly

Job Summary

The Senior Team Lead will provide guidance, instruction, and direction to all lines under their leadership. This position will report directly to the Production Supervisor. The Senior Team Lead will be accountable for safety, quality and productivity in the area of responsibility. The incumbent will ensure that all company policies and guidelines are followed and consistently applied.

Core Responsibilities

  • Production Scheduler/Warehouse operations
  • Drives assembly team to achieve daily targets, and escalates issues to Supervisors that may hinder goal from being met.
  • Maintain high product quality while ensuring optimal use of resources and adherence to best safety practices, 5S, cGMP Guidelines and ISO quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to eliminate waste and improve operational performance.
  • Ensure quality defects or efficiency problems are quickly identified, contained, eliminated, and prevented from reoccurring through proper and thorough investigations, performed under the guidance of the Production Supervisor and Quality Team.
  • Assess and analyze current practices t drive improvements. Incorporates the use of LEAN and problem solving tools to improve efficiencies and sets, and maintains, high standards in production conformance.
  • Organizes, leads, audits and inspects the work of Team Leads and Clean Room Assemblers.
  • Ensures Assembly Room housekeeping standards are maintained.
  • Assists in completion of end-of-shift reports.
  • Models professional conduct and the IDEAL Values, to create a culture of open communication, relentless preparation, winning as a team, and over-delivering. Confirms documentation of coaching’s performed by Team Leads. Monitors and escalates conduct and/or performance issues to Production Supervisor as appropriate. Ensures application of company policies and programs are applied consistently.
  • Will continuously work to build trust and camaraderie between team members.
  • Motivates their team and is responsible for being a leadership resource to their team members by providing knowledge, experience, support, and professional advice and, when appropriate, drafts and delivers verbal corrective actions.
  • Communicate and recommend appropriate headcount adjustments to maximize efficiencies.
  • Ensures teammates within area of responsibility are trained appropriately to the latest standardized work instruction and coordinates with Supervisor and/or the Training team to document properly, or to request re-training.
  • Identify and eliminate unsafe conditions in the work area. Model and reinforce safe behaviors. Instruct their teams on safety and emergency procedures and provide coaching, when necessary, to ensure that safety is always a priority.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor, other management personnel or as business need dictates.

Qualifying Experience

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • A minimum of two years as a Team Lead, or prior relevant experience working in a similar function and field, required.
