    Position: Food & Beverage Senior Supervisor

    The pay rate for this position is $25.50/hour

    This role is a seasonal position.

    Roles & Responsibilities:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the Food & Beverage department
    • Oversee team member schedules, order product, inventory, control food cost, and labor cost
    • Train line level employees on branded concepts as well as proprietary brands
    • Support team member morale within the department
    • Maintain a safe work environment, according to company and external inspection standards
    • Ensure that all company, local, and state food safety standards and regulation compliance are maintained at all times
    • Review, complete and submit daily temperature logs
    • Conduct a mandatory weekly and monthly location inventory
    • Monitor, record and manage product waste to control cost of sales
    • Review, analyze and submit waste logs
    • Ensure all food product specifications and procedures are followed
    • Ensure team member schedules are posted 2 weeks in advance
    • Manage timesheets, hours and break schedules
    • Direct, coach, mentor, and develop all team members in department
    • Follow all opening and closing operating procedures for the location – including cleanliness and safety, food safety, food quality, guest service and loss prevention
    • Must be able to address guest concerns in a professional and timely manner
    • Ability to lead team members
    • Follow all proper Personnel Protective Equipment guidelines
    • Other duties as assigned to support the park

    Qualifications/Skills:
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Must possess a California State Food Handlers Certification
    • Must have negative TB test results within the last 2 years
    • Ability to address multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced environment
    • Excellent customer service skills, ability to interact effectively with a diverse array of team members and desire to assist with questions, problems, issues and concerns
    • Strong communications skills and problem-solving abilities
    • Must have flexible schedule availability, including holidays and weekends
    • Be Self-motivated and be able to work independently, as part of the food and beverage team
    • Leadership experience preferred
    • Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word) 
    • Complete ServSafe – Food Protection Manager Certification within 30 days of employment
    • Health Department inspections and third party audit experience
     
    Tools and Equipment:

    • Register, cleaning supplies, equipment, fountain drink machines, fryers, grill, broiler, oven, soft serve machines, freezers, coolers, hot holding units, knives and slicers

    Physical Demands: 
    • Requires standing for long periods of time, ability to walk long distances within the park and exposure to variable outside and inside temperatures, including high heat. Must also be able to carry, push, pull, lift, hold objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Occasional bending, squatting, and reaching above shoulders.
