<p>As an organization at the forefront of autonomous driving, we have gathered vast amounts of valuable sensor data that provide a deep insight into various driving environments and scenarios. Within the AI Foundation Department our strategic response is to integrate foundational computer vision techniques to harness its full potential and drive its capabilities further ahead to adhere to future needs.</p>
<p><strong>What you’ll do: </strong></p>
<p>We are actively searching for a senior machine learning engineering candidate with a passion for generative neural networks, simulation and training large foundational models. This role will be pivotal in refining and enhancing our data assets to extract maximum value. With a wealth of sensor data at hand, the application of generative neural networks stands as a promising avenue. These networks with cutting-edge machine learning methodologies such as self-supervised learning techniques, can identify help us build real-world simulators from our data captures itself. Thereby, we close the domain-gap between game engine-based simulations, while we allow better scaling of scenarios along the actual vehicle routes without requiring extensive amount of VR designers. You will collaborate with many cross-functional teams and internationally renowned research organizations in the United States and Germany, pushing the state-of-the-art of what we can do with today's sensors and simulation algorithms.</p>
<p><strong>What you’ll need to succeed: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>PhD degree (or late stage) in a highly quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields</li>
<li>Fluency in English</li>
<li>Excellent programming skills in an object oriented programming language such as Python/C++</li>
<li>Familiarity with Linux</li>
<li>Ability to think ahead/Independence</li>
<li>Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as Tensorflow or Pytorch</li>
<li>Familiarity with object detection/tracking/reinforcement learning/generative networks</li>
<li>Experience in Bayesian inference/Monte Carlo methods</li>
<li>Experience with ROS</li>
<li>Experience with Neural Radiance Fields</li>
<li>Experience Building large datasets</li>
<li>Industry Exerience and knowledge working in a dynamic environment.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong> </strong><strong>Bonus Points!</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with Cloud Computing Services as Slurm, AWS or Azure</li>
<li>Experience with optimization methods</li>
<li>Published your work at CVPR/ICML/ECCV/ICCV/Siggraph or similar</li>
<li>Experience with Sensors such as LiDAR, RADAR, Camera</li>
<li>German language skills</li>
