We are hiring a Principal Patient Marketing Specialist to join our growing team as we expand our technologies. We look for an experienced, passionate marketer who is passionate about building in-depth patient understanding through therapy development or consumer experience for brands or technologies.

 A DAY IN THE LIFE: 

This individual will be responsible for leading patient-centric marketing strategies that expand awareness and adoption of technologies through various channels in the US market in collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners. Responsibilities will include: 

  • Identify opportunities to drive market development and therapy acceptance, leveraging cross-functional teams to achieve team goals
  • Utilize data-driven insights to assess markets, inform strategic decisions, identify opportunities, optimize marketing efforts, and measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns
  • Lead the creation and execution of patient campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and direct to patient education in partnership with creative teams and agencies
  • Lead the design and execution of patient journey mapping, testimonials, and advocacy-building efforts to shape end-to-end patient experience
  • Manage approval process for patient assets in partnership with legal, compliance, reimbursement, and other cross-functional partners
  • Craft compelling patient stories and build ambassador programs that elevate authentic voices and inspire others to take action—turning lived experience into powerful advocacy
  • Conduct and steer patient engagement activities such as focus groups, patient conferences, camps, and therapy awareness activities and build strong partnerships with patient societies
  • Own and manage patient claims matrix using a strong understanding of key messages and clinical data to drive consistency and clarity in messaging.
  • Identify gaps in awareness, access, and activation, and design scalable solutions that remove barriers and accelerate diagnosis and treatment.

Basic Qualifications: Must Have:  

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of successful experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or other healthcare-centric industry
  • Demonstrated success in patient advocacy, digital strategy, and execution
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, programs and changing priorities
  • Bring structure and recommendations where none exists
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Nice to Have: 

  • Masters or another Advanced Degree 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit balanced with collaborative style and professional maturity
