Rotation with rotating weekends and holiday per policy

This position is not eligible for time off or medical benefits

THE UNIT:

Allegheny General’s PDP Team are highly trained expert RNs who cover all areas of AGH based on their specialty and clinical expertise

Variety in the types of patients we receive and the level of patient acuity prepares our nurses to care for the most critically ill of patients

Job Summary: Responsible and accountable for a designated patient population for the purpose of providing care based upon enactment of the nursing process and floats to multiple areas within an assigned team based on skill level.

GENERAL OVERVIEW

QUALIFICATIONS

Job Requirements:

  • Current RN PA Licensure in good standing.
  • Minimum 3 years recent Med Surg/Tele experience in a Tertiary facility or large teaching facility.
  • CPR certification.
  • ACLS
  • Must be available for a concentrated period of time to attend orientation
  • RNs maintain responsibility and accountability for a designated patient population for the purpose of providing care based upon enactment of the nursing process RNs can identify, define and resolve all nursing care needs.
