The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks an Experienced Project Management Specialist - Master Production Scheduler (Level 3) to support the KC-46A program in Everett, WA.
The Experienced Project Management Specialist - Master Production Scheduler will develop and execute program schedules for production processes. You will be a part of the program team and work day-to-day with your partners in Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, Development, Testing, Operations, Supplier Management, Material Control, Quality, and others. You will communicate with all levels of management and staff to ensure baseline dates meet contractual date requirements. You help ensure budget alignment with the schedule for work packages.
Your oversight and analysis will provide visibility to any scheduling concerns, material shortages, design changes, and backlogs. You will measure and produce reports on performance, monitor effectiveness, maintain changes. You will advise the Program Manager and Control Account Managers on schedule performance, forecasts and risks. You will release and maintain all appropriate artifacts. You will participate in external and internal reviews of the schedule, including surveillance and audits.
We are looking for a highly analytical, self-motivated, and organized individual to join our planning and scheduling team who will collaborate across all departments to play a key role to KC-46A Tanker deliveries.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
- Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
- Perform studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives
- Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
- Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers
- Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
- Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
- Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining integrated resource-loaded project schedules, including the use of project management tools and software such as MS Project, Milestones, Primavera, Open Plan Professional, etc.
- 5+ years of experience integrating supplier or partner plans and schedules into the Program schedule and managing the integrated Master Schedule at the Program level
- Experience with execution of program planning to include cost, schedule and technical baselines
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Experience in creating integrated schedules encompassing design, manufacturing, equipment and resource requirements
