Main Bank Cashier/Dual Rate Supervisor (Tropicana Laughlin)

** Must be 21 + to work in this position

SUMMARY: The Cashier Main Bank performs the central cashiering functions of the cage while being courteous to guests and efficiently handling all of the guests needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures compliance with company standards and gaming regulations.
• Accountable for all Main Bank funds, reserve chips, and accounts receivable.
• Prepares bank deposits.
• Assists customers with questions.
• Must be available for scheduled work.
• Must exhibit the Family Service model at all times.

DUAL RATE SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists with the supervision of the Cage staff, with responsibilities including training; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining staff, addressing complaints and resolving problems. 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required. Six months or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if any.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
