Warehouse Associate

What we do: 

Galco Industrial Electronics is an authorized distributor for over one million products from over 400 brands.  We specialize in industrial, electrical and electronic automation, control and component solutions.  Our distribution center stocks over 50,000 products and offers same day shipping and emergency service.  We offer on-site and in-house repair services, as well as, engineering services which facilitate integration, retrofits and upgrades.  

D F Burnham & Co, our sister company, currently has a need for our Sterling Hts facility.  Responsible for all aspects of warehousing, including picking of orders, shipping/receiving, inventory control, over-the-counter sales, and delivery of product to alternate company location and to customers. Some hands-on value-added duties will be required (assembly, labeling, altering of product).

Required Education and Experience:

Warehousing experience is desirable (but not necessary)
Must be computer literate and must possess good communications skills
Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to work in a very fast-paced environment
Must have reliable transportation
Must have basic math skills (adding and subtracting)
