Job Description

What you get to do in this role:

The Senior Director of Corporate Strategy will be a key member of the corporate strategy team, reporting directly to the VP of Product Strategy. This leader will drive strategic analysis and execution across ServiceNow's product portfolio, working closely with the executive leadership team to shape the future of our platform.

This role sits at the nexus of technology trends, product innovation, and corporate vision. The Senior Director will execute deep market analysis, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and drive cross-functional alignment to ensure our product strategy delivers measurable business impact.

The ideal candidate brings strategic rigor with operational excellence—able to synthesize complex market signals, manage a high-performing team, and translate strategy into execution. This person will lead strategic initiatives in partnership with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy: Execute comprehensive market and technology trend analysis with focus on AI, and workflow automation to identify emerging opportunities and competitive threats that inform product portfolio decisions.
  • Foundation: Drive portfolio insights and strategic recommendations that create cohesive customer experiences across platform and business units, supporting the Product GMs and SVP of Engineering in defining organizational priorities with measurable business impact.
  • Build: Support thought leadership initiatives by developing strategic content, product strategies and market perspectives that position ServiceNow's vision for AI and workflow innovation to internal stakeholders and select external audiences.
  • Align: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, GTM, and Finance teams to ensure strategic initiatives align with corporate objectives and translate into execution plans with clear success metrics.
  • Deliver: Support executive presentations and strategic materials for Board meetings and leadership offsites, managing the analytical rigor and narrative development that enables robust discussions on priorities, tradeoffs, and decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a team of strategy professionals, developing talent through coaching and mentorship while fostering a culture of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and collaborative problem-solving. This role requires proven ability to manage, develop, and inspire high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.

 

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 8+ years of experience in product strategy, corporate strategy, or management consulting within SaaS, AI, or enterprise technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, AI/ML technologies, and workflow automation markets with demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into strategic recommendation.
  • Proven track record synthesizing complex market and technology signals into clear, actionable insights that influence product roadmaps and portfolio decisions in high-growth environments.
  • Executive communication skills with ability to craft compelling narratives and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and developing strategy teams, with demonstrated success building analytical capabilities and fostering collaborative team cultures.
  • Structured, analytical thinker who thrives in ambiguity and can balance long-term strategic vision with near-term execution priorities

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $240,800 - $433,400, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Tar
