-Drives the budgeting, forecasting and monitoring and reporting of G&A expenses
-Manages the execution and analysis of cost allocations
-Proposes annual guidance on financial management metrics for G&A expenses to SVP Finance and CFO in collaboration with Cost Center Managers, including identifying and assessing performance against relevant benchmarks
-Drives continuous improvement in management reporting by leveraging technology and business intelligent tools Supports Finance Committee / Board materials related to G&A expenses:
-Prepares and maintains standard reporting templates for the quarterly CFO and Finance Committee presentations related to G&A expenses
-Supports Financial Analysis team in reviewing G&A for the business budgets to ensure consistency across various business lines Supports Finance team in establishing highly effective business partnering with Cost Center Managers:
-Collaborates with the Financial Analysis team in effectively troubleshooting issues that may delay providing information timely
-Ensures consistent quality and timely deliverables to Cost Center Managers in collaboration with the Financial Analysis team Leads ad hoc analysis requested by management Collaborates with SVP Finance and Financial Analysis team to standardize financial processes Continuously identifies opportunities to drive automation in financial reporting Effective performance of the essential functions of this position requires regular in-person, on-site interaction with colleagues, both for purposes of relationship building and meaningful collaboration. Other duties may be assigned. QUALIFICATIONS
● Strong leadership and teamwork skills
● Experience with financial planning and reporting tools
● Strong financial modeling skills and experience with business intelligence tools
● Ability to manage and maintain quality control over large data sets
● Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
● Effective and efficient problem-solving skills
● Logical and confident decision-maker
● Strong communicator at all levels of the organization with ability to influence broadly
● Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships throughout CPG
● Consultative, collegial, and collaborative working style to facilitate working relationships with key stakeholders
● BA/BS required, in Finance/Accounting preferred; MBA preferred
● Experienced in insurance, retirement benefits or publishing, preferred but not required
● 10+ years of financial planning and analysis work experience required
Salary Range: $118,000 - $156,500
