THE TEAM

The Ironworks Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel located on the banks of the Rock River in downtown Beloit. The hotel is home to one of the area's best restaurants, Merrill and Houston's Steak Joint, and is within walking distance of many other area attractions and night life. It’s a place for people to work hard, play hard, and come together.

THE PLAYER

Often a guest's first impression of a property is the result of the Guest Services Representative's skills and abilities. You will provide a variety of guest services while working in the lobby or reception areas of the hotel. The position is challenging, varied and offers the opportunity to work flexible hours and to meet many new people.

EVERY DAY, YOU WILL

• Process guest arrivals and departures, including all necessary payments
• Handle & coordinate room assignments and pre-arrivals
• Handle guests' concerns
• Offer referral for services and handle requests for information
• Handle and store luggage
• Assist with the check-in and check-out of groups and tours
• Assist other departments as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

YOU WILL BE GREAT AT HOTEL GOODWIN & IRONWORKS HOTEL IF

• You have a high school diploma or equivalent
• You have excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
• You have effective conflict management and decision making abilities
• You have the ability to use a variety of computer applications

YOU ARE A VARSITY PLAYER IF

• You have previous experience in customer service

This position is subject to irregular hours to include late nights, weekends and holidays.

YOU MUST ALSO HAVE
