The Sales Strategy & Operations team sits at the core of the LinkedIn Talent Solutions business, partnering with a variety of cross-functional teams (sales, business development, business operations, finance, marketing, product, etc.) to help crack the most important strategic and operational problems facing the Talent Solutions business.
We are looking for a Sales Operations Senior Associate to drive the growth of LinkedIn’s Talent Solutions (“LTS”) Global Business. This role will be a key business partner to Business Development leadership and will report to the Go-to-Market Sales Operations team lead within the Global SaaS Sales Operations organization.
You will work with senior management on the most important strategic and operational initiatives to drive continued growth and operational efficiency, with a primary focus on the LTS partnerships go-to-market strategy. Specifically, you will act as a GTM sales advisor to senior global business leaders on operational processes, strategic initiatives, business performance, and sales motions. You will provide real-time measurement and data-driven insights to inform better business decisions and drive cross-functional execution to optimize revenue streams and product adoptions at scale. Using strong communication skills, you will have to effectively collaborate with a variety of teams and functions across LinkedIn, accomplishing tasks of high complexity and scope in a challenging and extremely fast-paced environment while also producing and presenting insights through executive level presentations to help drive critical business decisions.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and will be able to handle non-routine information supporting a rapidly changing organization. We are seeking a candidate with prior sales operations, consulting, investment banking, finance, corporate strategy, or business development experience who can help to run and design our go-to-market strategy and build scalable global processes.
Responsibilities
- Act as an advisor to Business Development and cross-functional leadership by delivering data-driven recommendations to help optimize the Talent Solutions business and achieve its strategic priorities
- Build the global go-to-market strategy for LTS partnerships business, including crafting a vision for the long-term strategy as the program scales
- Independently navigate ambiguous business problems and lead projects to influence key decisions through performance metrics, scaling, or transformation initiatives
- Establish strong cross-functional relationships with Sales management, Business Development, Business Operations, Finance, Systems teams to help suggest and implement processes (whether short term workarounds or longer-term solutions)
- Play a vital role in driving annual strategic planning processes through data-driven recommendations on how to optimize go-to-market operating models and team productivity
- Proactively identify opportunities for and implement process improvements with an operational excellence mindset
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years' experience in a strategic or analytical role, including Consulting, Finance, Business Operations, Sales Operations, Business Development or other similar
- 1+ years' experience with excel and SQL
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in data analysis/modeling (Excel, SQL) and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making
- Experience with D365, Anaplan, SQL/relational databases, and reporting tools like Tableau
- Expert knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Proven track record of leading strategic and operational cross-functional initiatives in a high-growth, performance-focused environment
