Part-Time Physical Therapist - Adult Acute Care - Days

At NewYork-Presbyterian, our Physical Therapists use advanced technology and best-practice techniques to restore and maximize patient mobility. We provide one-on-one therapies that are tailored to meet the individual needs of our patients. Our impressive facilities include state of the art exercise equipment, treatment space, advanced technologies such as the Bioness L300 Go, Lite Gait and the Bertec Balance Master. Our work continues to help patients reach their full potential.

Join our inter-disciplinary team and provide high-quality, acute care rehabilitation for our patients. Explore our many innovative programs including Burn Rehabilitation, Orthopedic/Trauma, Neurology, Och Spine, Lymphedema management and Vestibular Rehabilitation.

In this position, you will rotate through our many acute care units, ambulatory surgery and inpatient rehabilitation. The shift is a part time, 3 shifts per week that includes a regular Saturday with hours from 8:30am - 4:30pm.

Preferred Criteria

· Experience with adult acute care and surgical protocols

· Experience in ICU settings

· Cardio-pulmonary experience

· Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy

Required Criteria

· Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy

· New York State Physical Therapist License

· Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

$57.25-$67.95/Hourly
