We are looking for a Spare Parts Manager for our IMA-Ilapak office.
For nearly 50 years, IMA-Ilapak has offered a wide range of flexible packaging solutions to meet every form, fill and seal requirement for the food, pharmaceutical, medical device and wet wipes industries.
The North American branch provides aftermarket support for all customers in the region, as well as sales development for new customers and support for existing customers.

JOB SUMMARY

 

  • Ensure best-in-class customer satisfaction.

  • Improve spare parts delivery and optimize stock value.

  • Lead and coordinate the spare parts team, managing a team of 10 people.

  • Provide technical support for drafting commercial offers related to improvements and format changes.

  • Consult technical offices for information on possible improvements and format changes.

  • Create commercial presentations to promote upgrade packages.

  • Support the Spare Parts Office with necessary information for commercial offers.

  • Provide technical support for commercial negotiations related to upgrades and format changes.

  • Focus on maximizing profits and prices by proper price setting and reviewing.

  • Manage logistics and minimize order-to-delivery lead time.

  • Monitor and report key performance indicators.

  • Maintain customer metrics and seek areas for improvement.

  • Provide excellent customer service support.

  • Communicate spare parts products/services updates to stakeholders.

  • Evaluate market potential.

  • Participate in customer meetings.

  • Ensure the team is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.

MUST HAVE

 

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in product development, marketing, spare parts sales, or service delivery

  • Experience in team and people management.

  • Technical knowledge in mechanics or electrical/electronics.

  • At least 5 years of experience in After Sales/Service in industrial automation.

  • Understanding of the market and customer interface.

  • Negotiation and communication skills.

  • Leadership and cooperation skills.

  • Proactive and able to motivate and coach.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Willingness to travel occasionally (around 10%).

  • Dynamic, tenacious, and motivated.

  • Quick learner with good autonomy.

  • Good interpersonal skills.
     

NICE TO HAVE

 

  • Preferred: MoS or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Management, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of production line machinery.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of French, Spanish, or Russian is a plus.
