What You’ll Do
Join us on an exhilarating journey as we revolutionise the outdoor industry! As part of our strategic growth plan following the acquisition of MTD and the expansion of DEWALT Professional Outdoor products, we are seeking an Outdoor/Landscaping Product Training Specialist.
The purpose of this role is to lead the knowledge development and upskilling of both our internal commercial teams and key strategic partners. By increasing the applications and product knowledge or our teams will help drive sales and take market share.
The is a brand new role! As the vital bridge between the outdoor industry, our product development and our commercial teams. This role is crucial in driving our ambitious growth plans over the next three years.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Development: Create tailored training programs and materials for teams and partners, focusing on DEWALT and MTD products. Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve content.
- Product Training Delivery: Conduct diverse training sessions and assess their effectiveness through feedback and metrics.
- Resource Management: Ensure availability and condition of training materials and equipment, and prepare facilities for sessions.
- Facility Management: Oversee facility operations, manage scheduling, and coordinate logistics for training sessions.
- EMEA ANZ Training Manager Development: Enhance training managers' product knowledge and skills.
- Event Support: Provide expertise and demonstrations at key events in the EMEA ANZ region.
- Sales Support: Assist sales teams with technical insights and product advantages.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor products to guide training and sales strategies.
- Collaboration: Align with marketing and product development on messaging and strategies.

- Proven experience in landscaping, with a strong understanding of professional outdoor landscaping equipment. Expert knowledge of landscaping and forestry applications.
- Have the knowledge and ability to demonstrate a range of OUTDOOR powered equipment.
- Previous experience in training or sales support roles, within the outdoor power equipment industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends to develop relevant training content.
- Ability to travel within the EMEA and ANZ regions as required.
- Must be a fluent English speaker
