Job Description:

The Engineer III role represents a mid-level position within our Facilities Engineering Department. This position demands a higher level of expertise and experience in various maintenance areas, including advanced electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.

Job Duties:

• Perform general maintenance tasks and all other duties assigned by the Director or designee, which may include working outside of regularly scheduled shifts, in inclement weather, or in emergency situations.
• Diagnose and address issues in various maintenance areas – including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs – ensuring all solutions align with healthcare-specific standards and patient safety requirements.
• Regularly review and prioritize advanced maintenance tasks assigned both by leadership and the CMMS system, ensuring timely and accurate completion. This includes but is not limited to: Continually monitoring dashboards; creating, editing, and closing work order tickets; submitting permits; creating, editing, and maintaining asset information.
• Use specialized tools and methodologies to perform intricate repairs and maintenance, always adhering to safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of 4 years of job-related experience
