You may be ready to join us.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>We are seeking a <strong>Data Engineer (5–8 years)</strong> to support large-scale analytics and data transformation initiatives within a global consulting and life-sciences environment.</p><ul><li>Design, build, and maintain <strong>DBT models</strong> to transform raw data into validated, analytics-ready datasets.</li><li>Develop and optimize <strong>end-to-end ELT pipelines</strong>, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.</li><li>Maintain DBT projects with proper version control, documentation, reviews, and CI/CD integration.</li><li>Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to understand data needs and ensure robust data flows.</li><li>Implement data quality checks, testing, and validation processes.</li><li>Ensure pipelines are scalable, well-structured, and aligned with governance and platform standards.</li><li>Support troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li><strong>5+ years of experience</strong> in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering roles.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with <strong>DBT Core or DBT Cloud</strong>.</li><li>Proven background designing and maintaining ELT workflows.</li><li>Expert Python skills for data manipulation, automation, and transformations.</li><li>Exposure to CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.).</li><li>Ability to work in international teams across time zones (US Central Time collaboration required).</li><li>Strong analytical mindset, structured communication, and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Client Industry:</strong> Global Consulting &amp; Life Sciences.</p>
