Job Summary
The primary responsibilities of the Inside Partner Sales Manager are to engage, educate and enable the assigned indirect channel partners (Technology Service Distributors) to sell Comcast Business Services. Responsible for developing and implementing strategies for marketing and selling the Comcast Business Advanced Solutions Portfolio through the indirect distribution channel. Remotely manages ongoing relationships with agent partners. Drives revenue and ensures the indirect channel partners are positioning Comcast Business solutions to end-user customers. This is an individual contributor role that does not have direct responsibility for supervision or performance.This is a virtual role with up to 20% travel annually.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Drives incremental monthly sales as an inside sales resource to meet or exceed budget objectives with indirect channel partners in a given market or region who are sub agents of a master agent or direct agents/partners.
- Remotely recruits, trains and supports the partner community to position the entire suite of Comcast Business solutions.
- Serves as liaison to assigned channel partners concerning any sales related issues and escalations.
- Responsible for interacting with the local market leadership to discuss sales activities, sales strategies, and escalations in the region or division.
- Works closely with the National Partner Sales Managers and Directors on local market initiatives and partner recruitment events.
- Exercises judgement and discretion in negotiating deal pricing with agents and partners.
- Collaborates with internal teams such as sales engineering, finance, etc. to provide exceptional client service to the partner and the customer.
- Educates partners on Comcast Business products and provides consultative guidance on solutions.
- Serves as liaison to channel partners with regards to any sales related issues.
- Ensures consistent completion of product install by partnering with regions relative to survey, order acceptance, construction process and post-sale process.
- Provides accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel via SalesForce.com.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
Education Level
- Bachelor' s Degree or Equivalent Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years of experience managing indirect channel partner sales relationships.
- Keen knowledge of the telecommunications industry and I/P packet-switched technology.
- Understanding of data, voice and video applications and Integrated Access Devices.
- Comprehension of WAN, CPE and LAN architecture and topology.
- Understanding of the OSI mode l with emphasis on layer 2 & 3 technology and construction necessary for diverse builds.
- Ability to build effective internal relationships with regional resources in order to support the partners.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Possess Technical Skills related to Commercial Applications (routers and Networking desired).
- Team player, able to handle ambiguity, anticipate and react to changes quickly (flexible with hours and duties).
- Ability to quickly make decisions independently.
Minimum National and Regional travel required (10 - 20%).
