 Main Responsibilities

• Acquire basic understanding of IP’s end to end supply chain processes
• Utilize SAP technology and processes in a centralized environment
• Assist in root cause analysis and provide resolution for issues that have significant business impact
• Communicate with cross functional teams on daily activities, issues, and concerns that affect the supply chain process
• Support a culture of continuous improvement by assisting and potentially leading deliberate improvement efforts utilizing Manufacturing Excellence (ME) tools
• Analyze market and industry conditions to execute buying strategies
• Purchase parts, supplies, equipment or fiber following established purchasing policies and procedures while optimizing price, delivery and terms
• Negotiate contracts for implementation and logistics coordination
• Oversee relationships with vendors
