RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS 

• As NPR (non project related) Category Manager, you will define and implement the NPR strategy for the HR category you are in charge of, in alignment of the global NPR policy and strategy.
• You will proactively contribute to the Procurement Excellence Roadmap (development and delivery to accelerate procurement maturity) by defining and leading the strategy of your category on a 3 years plan basis.
• You will translate your NPR category strategy into robust operational plans (addressing global and local levels).
• You will be responsible to achieve quantitative and qualitative targets that you would have assigned with your manager and relevant Head of Support Functions.
• You will promote the new NPR sourcing activity.
• You also have a key role to play to define the adequate NPR procedures in coordination with Group Supply Chain who owns the overall “source to contract” and “process to pay” processes, in the context whereby SBM is currently going through the implementation of its ERP (IFS), for which you will be an ambassador.
• Considering the implementation of this new system and new ways of working, you will be responsible to ensure that the Company processes are fully understood and implemented across the various departments and functions.
• Amongst your objectives, you will have to cooperate with Group Internal Audit to demonstrate that the level of internal control is improving. To that end, you will organize the vendors risk management, KYS, and execute internal control testing campaigns.
• You will be given the overall responsibility over various Key NPR vendors, on the HR category, especially but not limited to manpower agencies, recruiting companies and on-line services, training services, mobility programs…
• You proactively engage with third parties to become the business partner of choice of the Department Managers and Head of Functions (eg: Group IT Director, the Group HR Director, and any other relevant head of corporate functions) to implement the categories management and drive strategic / key vendors.
• You develop and maintain the strategic relationship with the key vendors after PO award, while implanting the RACI with stakeholders for all vendors.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

Specific skills / expertise:   

• Background in purchasing and vendor management.
• Previous experience in SCM NPR HR category management. within a multi-national organization, minimum 10 years.
• Master’s degree in SCM or Business administration.
• Expert in negotiation, vendors management and procurement value chain.
• Bring strategic vision, while being result oriented in the operational implementation.
• Good knowledge of ISO 20400 is a plus, as well as Supplier risk and compliance.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience in process improvement and internal control.
• Experience or exposure to ERP implementation is a plus.
