Quality Technician

Description

SUMMARY:  This position works directly with the manufactured product with the direction of the Quality Supervisor collecting test and measurement data as indicated on the In-Process Inspection Sheets. This position reports to the Production Supervisor but also works directly with the Quality Supervisor to ensure the products manufactured meet the customer requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect product for start- up approval on injection processes.  
• Initiate and correctly label 1st and last shot box samples.
• Perform measurement and test procedures to satisfy in process inspections.
• Verify part to label inspections preparing for shipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good math skills are a requirement.
• Understanding of measurement and test equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Some Injection Molding Experience is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Should be able to life, push, and pull up to 50lbs.
