OnsiteWe are looking for a talented Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic Industrial Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in industrial engineering, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles. In this role, you will analyze, design, and implement manufacturing processes to boost efficiency, cut costs, and uphold the highest quality standards in aerospace production.
What You Will Do:
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design, layout, and optimize production workflows, equipment, and space requirements.
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for process improvements.
- Analyze and prepare production line capacity assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality, to develop and implement process improvements.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methods to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues.
- Support new product introductions by developing efficient manufacturing processes and ensuring smooth transitions from design to production.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and process improvement.
- Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations is a plus.
