We are currently seeking a SENIOR ARCHITECT to join the Residential team in our SALT LAKE CITY, UT office. This experienced professional is a licensed architect with demonstrated experience on the most complex, large residential projects. They will have full responsibility for all technical efforts to deliver an accurate and complete set of project documents, and will demonstrate strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Successfully coordinates all project efforts through all phases of design and development to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution for the most complex projects.
- Can be relied upon to present directly to the client on technical and design solutions.
- Directs Schematic Design and Construction Documents and monitors adherence to project requirements
Supervise the teams' design and technical delivery
Monitors budgets and schedules and maintains project documentation.
Develops and represents lead technical viewpoint on projects
Supervise the teams' design and technical delivery
Coordinates with Project Management, other Architects and consultants on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies
Delivers a complete, accurate and well- coordinated set of project documents for quality control review with minimal comments
Mentors architectural staff.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Substantial experience in developing details and providing technical and design support in the preparation of Design Development for high-end residential experience REQUIRED.
- Strong knowledge of code and demonstrated awareness of code limitations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Self-motivated; ability to work independently and in a team environment to coordinate and maintain positive working relationships with other technical staff, outside consultants, and clients<
