Assistant Men's Rowing Coach (PT)

Job Summary

Drexel University is seeking a qualified candidate for a Part-time Men's Rowing Coach. This position will assist the Men's Rowing Coach with the organizing, planning and coaching of the Men's Rowing team. The ideal candidate is a former collegiate rower who specializes in coaching and is looking for a career in college coaching.

Essential Functions

• Assist the Men's Rowing Coach during team practices and races. Emphasis on planning and collaboration with coaching staff. 
• Assist with student-athlete development athletically and academically. 
• Assist the head coach with other duties to ensure the success of the program such as fundraising, operations and logistics.
• Assist in the coordination of team travel with other rowing and athletic department staff. 
• Follow all university, athletic department, NCAA, and IRA rules and policies. 
• Assist in the planning and organization of on campus recruiting and camps and clinics
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications

• Former collegiate rower or coach with knowledge of rowing.

• University City – Philadelphia, PA

Additional Information

This is a Part-time Per Diem position classified as Non-exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
