Role Summary

As a Teacher, you will lead a classroom of young learners to foster their social, emotional and academic development. You will create a warm, safe, nurturing environment and deliver engaging learning experiences aligned with our curriculum and center policies. You'll also mentor and coach less experienced teachers and model best practices. The Learning Experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead classroom activities that support children’s growth in all developmental domains (cognitive, language, physical, social/emotional).
  
  
• Plan and implement lesson plans aligned with the center’s curriculum and standards.
  
  
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized classroom environment.
  
  
• Build strong, positive relationships with children and support their individual learning and growth.
  
  
• Model effective teaching practices and provide guidance/feedback to less experienced classroom staff. The Learning Experience+1
  
  
• Partner with families and communicate children’s progress, challenges and milestones.
  
  
• Adhere to all health, safety, licensing and regulatory requirements.
  
  
• Participate in professional development, team meetings and center-wide initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or CDA preferred 
  
  
• Previous classroom teaching experience in an early childhood setting 
  
  
• Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles.
  
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  
• Ability to model leadership, mentor team members and maintain professionalism.
  
  
• Passion for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and well-being.

Compensation: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
