Summary

Develops and fosters relationships with employees to efficiently complete contracted services, Specialty Cleaning Field Supervisor has detailed knowledge of service being offered. Oversees and directs all phases of the contracted scope work/projects for Specialty Cleaning. Maintains workflow, staffing and scheduling to achieve targeted operational and financial results.

• Field Supervisor-Janitorial requires 2 or more years of working experience in Janitorial and must be well versed in most aspects of Janitorial and Special Services.
• Available to work one weekend per month and Overtime as requested.  
• Maintain and promote positive and productive work environment. 
• Excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills.  
• Ability to train through coaching co-workers. 
• Self-starting capabilities, and the ability to work unsupervised.
• Knowledge of Janitorial materials, material applications, chemical/cleansers, and equipment.
• Proficient with technology including smart phones.
• Physical Abilities: The ability to lift 35 pounds, work at heights and able to continually climb, balance, stoop, and kneel sometimes for prolonged periods of time is required.
• Have experience in floor care and machinery for flooring maintenance. 
• Familiarity with various floor care techniques, including buffing and carpet cleaning, is essential.
• Waxed hard floor service (buff/burnish, scrub recoat, strip and wax)
• Non-waxed hard floor service (scrubbing things like ceramic tile, concrete, epoxy, etc.)
• Truck mount carpet cleaning (steam cleaning carpets).
• Experience working with various chemicals, especially floor stripper and associated carpet cleaning chemicals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• The supervisor is responsible to provide excellent customer service by ensuring the crews provide quality work, are prompt to the job, understand and abide by the work order information, have the correct supplies and equipment for the project.
• Performs janitorial services as directed by management.
• Work with team to ensure that all contract needs are met, including but not limited to the scope of work, additional requests, and emergency situations. 
• Attend training/meetings as directed by Management. 
• Assist with Technicians needs. 
• Maintain a high level of safety on jobs and follow safety code of conduct. 
• Communicate field observations and job status to Management. 
• Conducts monthly inventories of materials and makes supply order accordingly. 
• Record time and expenses in ProTec Connect Daily as needed.
