Overview
The Work
The Director of Recruiting – Commercial, State, Local & Education will spearhead the development and execution of Cayuse Holdings, and all of its commercial, state, local and education entities, recruitment strategies and initiatives. The Director will collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the hiring needs and develop strategies that are efficient, business-focused, and scalable to meet fast-paced recruiting needs.

Responsibilities
Key Objectives Include:
- Lead and manage full-cycle recruitment activities.
- Provides strategic leadership on recruitment, hiring practices and staffing strategies.
- Identifies, develops and enhances recruiting program, policies, and procedures.
- Identifies and implements internal and external recruitment practices that are scalable and leading edge.
- Establishes a collaborative team atmosphere among internal recruiting team.
- Acts as a trusted advisor and solution provider to supervisors, managers, and executives. Advise leaders on best practices and innovative sourcing strategies for attracting and hiring the best talent.
- Educate hiring managers on talent pool dynamics and recruiting best practices.
- Drives continuous improvement within the recruiting team and department.
- Oversees long-term recruitment pipeline. Tracks and reports on candidate pipeline status.
- Assess and balances the workload and internal recruiting resources. Evaluates and aligns Recruiting department organizational structure to optimize effectiveness of team.
- Coordinates and utilizes company offshore capabilities as needed.
- Oversees company’s tribal commitments in the Commercial, State, Local and Education Business Units.
- Evaluates and communicates key metrics to develop appropriate recruitment strategies and ensures open positions are filled efficiently and effectively.
- Develops and fosters partnerships with external recruiting resources for hard-to-fill roles.
- Organizes and attends recruitment events to establish a strong employer brand.
- Maintains and optimizes Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Ensures compliance with applicable Federal and State laws surrounding recruitment. Follow fair and transparent hiring practices.

Qualifications
Qualifications – Here’s What You Need
- BS degree in Human Resources, Business, and/or a related field, preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive recruitment experience and 3+ years of experience in managing and leading a recruitment team.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Expert level of knowledge of recruitment technologies and strategies.
- Ability to prioritize workflow and maximize organizational efficiency.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to take initiatives and drive results.
- Excellent judgement and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
