Job Description

• Managing  implementation of all applicable local compliance to Environmental Health and Safety procedures, laws, and regulations
• Educating employees and Service Providers regarding safety in order to enhance an overall culture of safety
• Performing Risk Assessments of all facilities in order to identify hazards and mitigate risk to employees and visitors
• Supporting full implementation of Chromalloy's health and safety, security standards across sites and regions
• Collaborating across the global functional and site matrix to manage the mitigation of risk
• Partnering with HR subject matter experts to produce a targeted Health & Safety training curriculum for Sites, Regions and individual employees/contributors
• Leading the delivery of site physical security systems (Security, Health and Safety Portal, CCTV, intrusion alarm, access control, etc.).
• Lead and drive the implementation of the Chromalloy Safety & Health management system and associated EHS SOPs.
• Development and implementation of an all-encompassing safety & health knowledge and skills training program for employees and 3rd parties
• Ensuring compliance with applicable OSHA, local and state regulations as well as Chromalloy safety & health policies, procedures, and programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Toxicology, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or science-related field.
• Professional certifications (CSP, CIH, CIT, CHMM, NEBOSH,) preferred
• 10-15 years in progressive EHS roles with a strong focus on safety and health required. 
• At least 5 years of working in a manufacturing environment as a safety professional is preferred.
• Strong background in and knowledge of USA federal, state, and local EHS requirements and industry standards/best practices. Mexico, Holland, and Thai knowledge is a plus.
