Our supply chain <strong><em>superintelligence </em></strong>helps navigate complex supply chain challenges, ensuring operational integrity and enhancing market leadership. <h3>Your mission</h3> <p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior Software Engineer </strong>at Prewave who will… <br/><ul><li>Perform the scoping, design, development, and deployment of critical software components</li><li>Collaborate closely with our team of data scientists to seamlessly integrate and enhance AI systems within our data processing pipeline</li><li>Contribute to the continuous evolution of our codebase, architectural enhancements, and exploration of new technologies</li><li>Engage with our diverse software architectures, including microservices, event-driven systems, batch processing and service-based architecture</li><li>Utilise a wide array of technologies across the stack, including but not limited to Scala, Python, Kubernetes, PubSub, Postgres, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)</li><li>Drive enhancements in the performance and resilience of our software ecosystem to effectively align with business KPIs and meet client SLAs</li><li>Solve challenges inherent to large-scale systems processing vast volumes of data efficiently and effectively</li></ul></p> <h3>Your profile</h3> <strong>Must haves</strong><br/><ul><li>3+ years experience with a JVM-based language such as Java, Scala, or Kotlin, or proficiency in a functional language like Haskell</li><li>Proficiency in functional programming paradigms</li><li>A thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, relevant tools and standard methodologies</li><li>Experience in software development within a distributed systems context, with a proven track record of delivering robust solutions</li><li>An understanding of data modelling principles and practical experience with Relational and/or NoSQL databases</li><li>Exceptional debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration within a dynamic team environment</li><li>Proficiency in English language skills</li><li>Living in Austria, or being available for occasional office travels</li></ul><br/><strong>Bonus points for</strong><br/><ul><li>Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Microsoft Azure</li><li>Experience in coding with Scala</li><li>Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or similar technologies</li><li>Experience working in or collaborating closely with AI engineering teams</li></ul> <h3>What we offer you</h3> <p><strong>What You Can Expect:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Competitive Compensation and Benefits:</strong> We recognise and reward talent.
