About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop new intake and admissions unit to process & place training applicants in career pipeline training programs
- Ensure staff are trained on eligibility criteria for targeted occupations including educational requirements, work readiness, and additional background information
- Develop orientation and assessment systems to ensure applicants are reviewed and enrolled in appropriate workshops
- Manage applicant counseling and referral systems to address barriers to placement
- Partner with higher education, occupational certifications and foundations staff to ensure successful enrollment in programs
· Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Health Care or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred
- Minimum five (6) years’ experience in adult education, vocational or college programs or healthcare related fields; to include four (4) years supervisory experience required
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, and communication skills
- Excellent writing, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, plan and coordinate work in a time sensitive environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
