Job Description
AECOM seeks an Executive IT Support Specialist to join our Corporate IT team. The Executive IT Support Specialist will ensure a seamless IT experience for AECOM’s top tier executives. This position demands a unique blend of technical expertise, discretion, and people skills to address the specific and often complex IT needs. This role will report to the Executive IT Support Supervisor.
This will be a full time in-office position based in Southlake, TX.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Provide executives immediate, high-priority technical support, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance at our Dallas office.
- Follow direction from the Executive IT Support Supervisor.
- Work with AECOM’s managed service provider when needed.
- Manage a local ready stock of equipment for executive support.
- Travel to executive events within the US as required.
- Collaborate and contribute to the broader IT goals.
- Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Document and communicate processes, procedures, and standards.
- Develop and execute personalized training sessions for executives on recent technologies, software, Cyber Security awareness and IT policies.
- Ensure knowledge articles, training and how-to documents are created.
- Procuring equipment for the executive team.
- Occasional after hours calls from executive team.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS plus at least 4 years of relevant experience in IT Service Delivery and ITSM Process management or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- In-depth knowledge of escalation procedures, incident, problem, request management, and other disciplines related to service delivery.
- A passion for Service Improvement
- Exceptional customer-facing skills
- Experience supporting C-level executives.
- Experience supporting executive events.
- Experience dealing with complex IT operational issues and coordinating cross-functional teams for root cause analysis and resolution.
- Experience working with internal IT delivery teams and external IT service providers.
- Understanding of technologies and infrastructure
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an engineering/infrastructure consulting environment.
- Experience working with engineering/infrastructure applications.
- Degree in IT, engineering, business, or demonstrated experience equivalency.
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a particular focus on the ability to identify and document IT service mappings, technologies, and co-dependencies.
Additional Information
- Sponsorship for US work authorization is not available for this position, now or in the future.
Offered rate of compensation (TX locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000.
