Senior Project Manager with CPIC experience

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of project management experience in the IT field, with a strong background in government contracting and at least 3 years of experience supporting Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) processes and business cases. The candidate must hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee IT projects in a government contracting environment • Support Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) processes and business cases• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met • Communicate project status and progress to senior management and other stakeholders • Provide oversight and guidance to project team members • Conduct project reviews and post-implementation reviews• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field • At least 7 years of project management experience in the IT field • At least 3 years of experience supporting Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) processes and business cases • Government contracting experience is required • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification is required • Strong communication, leadership and team management skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Desired experience

• Experience with Oracle Primavera Portfolio Management (OPPM) software.
