Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Senior Information Technology Business Partner to join the team in Everett, WA.

Join the Fabrication Information Technology (IT) Business Partner team to drive delivery of Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) capabilities that support Fabrication’s Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC).

You will provide business focused IT services and solutions in partnership with local and enterprise IT teams to ensure wiring systems, bundles, and harnesses are delivered to Airplane Programs Final Assembly with first-time quality and on schedule. As a trusted advisor, you will build relationships across business and IT, translate priorities into actionable strategies, and ensure commitments are met to support business objectives.

This role leverages IT experience and Boeing knowledge to act as the liaison between ESRC, IDT&S, and related stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Educate the business on IT service offerings

  • Collaborate with business and function leaders to understand challenges and initiatives

  • Represent business needs within IT while engaging the appropriate resources, evaluating alternatives, and supporting the deployment of effective solutions with first-time quality

  • Develop and execute communication plans, including status updates to leadership and business/function stakeholders

  • Identify risks and impacts and coordinate mitigation plans or changes to commitments with business or function leaders

  • Provide input and lessons learned on IT processes, procedures, tools, and techniques, and ensure alignment with quality management solutions for the business or function

  • Communicate skills at all levels, with the ability to collaborate effectively, drive results, and recognize when escalation is required to mitigate risk

  • Provide indirect oversight of project teams and coordinating and negotiating priorities with both business and IT stakeholders

  • Engage with business to understand requirements and identify innovative ways for technology to enhance business opportunities

  • Drive innovation and ensure business value is realized through solution delivery

  • Leverage the broader IT community to develop and implement effective technological solutions while remaining mindful of cost and value to the company

  • Integrate cost, schedule, and technical data/metrics and translate them into actionable information to support decision-making

  • Demonstrate tactical and strategic decisions, plan and organize work, and take initiative

  • Lead liaison activities between the business or function and IT and related organizations to understand priorities and develop strategies that support business objectives

  • Oversee funding, affordability, and dollars spent in support of the applicable business unit(s) or function(s)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience defining and applying emerging technologies to support business needs

  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment, with broad experience working with all business levels from individual contributors to executive-level leaders

  • 5+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Experience working with manufacturing systems across BCA, specifically Fabrication Manufacturing Business Units (MBUs)

  • Experience working independently and within a group

  • Experience with Factory Technology Integration

  • Experience with Project or Program management
