What You'll Do:
In the Licensed Clinical Therapist-Intern Supervisor role, you’ll be responsible for the provision counseling for clients, clinical supervision of interns; attendance and support of case conferencing and ensuring that clients with ongoing treatment needs are successfully connected with appropriate community-based treatment programs. You will support interns by assisting with interventions, de-escalations and prevention efforts.
- Provides individual and/or group supervision to interns and associates within the agency
- Provides direct services to designated clients which include: intake, assessment, and counseling as well as client advocacy with the goal of supporting self-sufficiency
- Recruit, screen, place and supervise interns who will provide short term counseling and case management services at multiple Interfaith service locations
- Working with the agency’s treatment team of behavioral health providers, provide/organize clinical in-service staff trainings to ensure best practice and consistency across programs
- Support treatment team meetings for clinical and/or paraprofessional staff to ensure compliance, best practice and offer clinical supervision for staff working with difficult clients
- Provide direct services to clients including short term counseling, crisis intervention, and linkage with longer term services.
- Participate, when appropriate, in case conferences for clients receiving counseling services
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with mental health providers to ensure that clients with ongoing treatment needs are successfully transferred to longer term services
- Maintain accurate records and files and prepare reports as required by funders and agency administration.
- Complete billing and enter data into Clarity and/or other electronic data systems as required by funders and Interfaith.
- Monitor compliance with grant and contract requirements. Make recommendations to Supervisor regarding any program changes needed to meet grant benchmarks
- Ensure the confidentiality of client information and health records. • Meet regularly with Supervisor and participate in agency meetings and staff trainings

Who You Are:
You're passionate about making a lasting impact, whether supporting individuals directly or enhancing our organizational effectiveness. To thrive in this role, you'll:
- Masters Degree
- LMFT, LPCC or LCSW required with at least three (3) years of experience in social services or counseling related background
- Must be able to supervise associates registered with the CAA Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
- LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS Must have MFT, LPCC or LCSW
- Must have reliable transportation and possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license including proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage and insurability under the Company’s insurance carrier standards
- Must have experience and knowledge of working with disenfranchised individuals, families and cultures
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated experience managing multiple deadlines and working effectively under pressure, using independent judgment to produce quality work under time constraints
- Demonstrated experience working with a collaborative team to drive successful projects to completion
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret quantitative information
