Primary Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for experienced individuals to run production for morning worship services in Gabhart Chapel.

Overview:
You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of worship services and events in Gabhart Chapel. This position will lead the A/V work for chapel services three times a week in Gabhart Chapel including mixing during the event and cultivating a team of student volunteers to assist with various production tasks and operation in the respective areas of audio, video, lighting, and stage support. This position requires strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to adapt quickly to dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audio, video, lighting, and stage support for worship services in Gabhart chapel.
  • Operate, organize, and maintain production equipment to the highest standard.
  • Communicate effectively with worship director, musicians, speakers, and production team members.
  • Quickly resolve unexpected issues that arise during events.
  • Adapt to changing plans and troubleshoot event needs.
  • Set up and break down equipment before and after events, ensuring all gear is properly stored and maintained.
  • Take initiative and show a willingness to go above and beyond basic responsibilities.

Required Qualifications
  • Strong interest in live event production and performing arts.
  • Basic knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and/or stage equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  Required EducationBachelor's degree in production or audio engineering. Emphasis in live audio preferred.   Required ExperienceNo previous employment history is required; however, applicants without job history must clearly give examples of their ability with production skill sets and event operations skill sets in other environments
