The Opportunity:

As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We have an opportunity for a security cooperation logistics planner to join our team as we support the U.S. Army’s persistent engagement with a key partner in the Indo-Pacific region. You will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of high-level, persistent security cooperation activities and military exercises. You will help manage a large team of senior mentors who will interact with a foreign partner on a recurring basis in region. You will develop and execute the logistics support plan, training and travel schedules, and resourcing plan, as well as the daily operations of the U.S. government client. You will also travel into the region to support key activities and solve complex and unforeseen problems in an international space.

You Have: 

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to analyze and coordinate the logistical support requirements of a project or organization
• Ability to identify logistics and coordination gaps in an organization, define root problems, and develop appropriate and practical solutions
• Ability to operate in an international setting with culturally diverse groups
• Ability to provide executive-level briefings
• Ability to be flexible, take initiative, and innovate to succeed in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and cross-functional environment, composing client deliverable quality documentation, analysis, and reports
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience with operational deployment and redeployment, and reception, staging, and onward integration (RSOI), or Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience with operational deployment and redeployment, and reception, staging, and onward integration (RSOI)

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience researching and writing background papers, talking points, and written statements
• Experience with consulting for the federal government, the Intelligence Community (IC), the Department of Defense (DoD), or FEDSIM programs
• Knowledge of Title 22 and Title 10 security cooperations programs and limitations
• Knowledge of the Joint Training Program (JTP) and JELC doctrine and processes
• Knowledge of information security (INFOSEC) and risk analysis, management, and mitigation
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to develop multiple complex reports with specific deadlines
• Possession of excellent relationship-building and time management skills
• TS/SCI clearance

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
