Sentara RMH Hahn Oncology Center, located in beautiful Harrisonburg, Virginia, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our growing oncology team. This is a 100% outpatient position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients while working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on delivering high-quality cancer care.
Position Highlights
• 100% outpatient oncology practice seeing approximately 12–15 patients per week
• Join a collegial team of 7 physicians and 1 APP
• Four clinical days onsite and one administrative day (flexible, excluding Fridays)
• Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. schedule — last patient seen at 4:30
• No call and no weekends
• Responsibilities include:
- Partnering with physicians to manage oncology treatment plans
- Evaluating patients receiving infusions
- Ordering medications, labs, and imaging as appropriate
- Providing education and support to patients and families throughout treatment
• Oncology certification (AOCNP) preferred at hire or required within a defined timeframe after employment
