Wave Dental Specialists – Atlanta is looking for a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Full-Time Patient Coordinator to join our team in Buckhead. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a key role in creating an exceptional experience while keeping our busy specialty practice running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with professionalism and warmth
• Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments efficiently
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary patient information
• Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate records
• Collect co-pays, balances, and process payments
• Coordinate treatment schedules with doctors and clinical staff
• Maintain patient charts and ensure all documentation is complete
• Assist with recall, confirmations, and appointment follow-up
• Provide exceptional customer service while creating a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental front office or patient coordinator experience
• Experience with Open Dental software preferred
• Knowledge of dental insurance verification and benefit breakdowns preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented specialty practice

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
