JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for recruiting candidates for open positions utilizing appropriate recruitment and sourcing strategies. The Recruiter will be hands on in all phases of the recruiting process, including, search intake, research and identification of both active and passive candidates, screening, and assessment of candidates, and making job offers to those candidates—along with execution of large-scale hiring events.
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values
- Build relationships and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs
- Post job openings internal/external positions
- Conduct initial assessments of internal and external candidates to determine if minimum qualifications are met
- Prepare and conduct training classes for the employment department
- Maintain database to track newly hired employees, employee promotions, and job changes
- Process gaming applicant drug tests
- Review applications for completeness, notarize documents and process new employees
- Manage online applications
- Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria utilizing posting, referrals, colleges and universities, networking, and internet search
- Work with the training department to assist with enrolled members development plans, to understand internal talent needs, and to identify and source high potential internal candidates
- Informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive
- Informed of changing demographics of the local area regarding labor relations and population changes
- Conduct job fairs and mass recruiting efforts
- Interpret hiring policies and procedures for employees and managers in functional areas
- Provide input on policy changes pertaining to employment
- Responsible for viewing and matching skills sets to minimum qualifications & hiring preference before sending candidates to hiring managers
- Managing database of applicant’s interviews for future job openings, tagging of key word references
- Screen and assess candidates to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about their past organizations and positions
- Identify candidates using the latest online recruiting sources and methodologies.
- Responsible for independently managing and delivering campus recruiting services to support business unit staffing needs for professional, sales, management, technical positions
- Train employees on new processes/functionality as needed
- Ensure assigned systems, procedures, projects, and reports follow internal policies and procedures, in addition to laws and regulations which apply
- Provide clerical support for department, as needed
- Assist with the recruitment and execution of foreign and domestic labor programs implemented
- Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved in projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions
- Proactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employees
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in Business Administration preferred
- Two years’ experience in human resources or human services required
- Two years recruitment experience preferred
- Valid N.C driver’s license required with no more than one (1) DUI convictions or 3 or more moving violations, 3 or more traffic citation convictions in the past 3 years (from date of conviction) or conviction for suspension or conviction for at fault accident within the last 3 years required
