Summary
We are currently seeking a Retail Operations Manager, East Coast who will report to the Director of Operations.YOUR OPPORTUNITY
The Retail Operations Manager, East Coast, drives operational excellence and efficiency across all retail locations throughout the eastern region of the Americas. This role leads compliance with all operational policies & procedures in partnership with retail leadership, store management, and key stakeholders. This role ensures daily business functions and systems run efficiently, in line with global standards. The Retail Operations Manager, East Coast, also supports store operations talents in their development and growth.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Key Accountabilities
- In partnership with the Director of Operations and retail leadership, strategically evaluate current systems, suggesting new initiatives to improve operational excellence and the client experience.
- Foster positive relationships and open communication with retail leadership, store teams, and key stakeholders.
- Train and educate the retail teams, including store management, operations and stock roles, on company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with cross functional partners on regional retail projects.
- Provide prompt resolutions to store inquiries.
- Travel to stores for routine checks on operational excellence and guide stores in areas of improvement to meet global standards.
Compliance
- Ensure store compliance on company policies and procedures in partnership with Retail leadership, store management, store operations teams, Finance, Sales Audit, Inventory Control, Merchandising, VM, Security, HR, Store Planning, IT, Supply Chain, and Transportation.
- Manage new policy rollouts and identify areas that require additional guidelines.
- Ensure the proper adoption and use of digital tools as it relates to retail operations.
- In leased environments, adhere to the specifications as outlined in the business agreements and leased policies.
Inventory and Administration
- Manage inventory control for designated locations, including cycle counts, adjustments, negative stock management and annual physical inventory.
- Review and approve stock movements such as uniforms, damages, and theft, in collaboration with Inventory Control and Security.
- Monitor supply orders including packaging, retail tools and office items, keeping within the operating expenses budget.
- Support and troubleshoot day to day matters such as shipment discrepancies, transfer issues, equipment issues, or other non-related IT topics.
Store Planning and Events
- Manage all operational aspects of store projects including openings, closings, relocations, and expansions.
- Manage all operations related topics for store marketing events and company events to achieve business objectives.
- Oversee operations schedules, create accounts, and communicate on all relevant information to cross functional partners.
- Travel and provide onsite support for designated locations in conjunction with internal and external partners plus vendors.
WHO YOU ARE
- Ability to prioritize task execution based on business needs.
- Rigor, sense of organization and multi-tasking management.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive work environment while respecting brand values and behaviors.
- Minimum 3 years of retail operational experience.
- Multi-store management experience and in a fast-paced, ideally luxury/fashion environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional partners at a multinational corporation.
- Proven ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills, consistent follow-up, and attention to detail.
- Proficient in POS & Inventory Management Systems. Advance knowledge in SAP and Oracle Retail Xstore, a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams
- Able to take initiative and take charge of work without daily supervision
- Travel on a frequent and short notice basis (50%+)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
