.NET Technical Lead with Azure - Contractor

About the role
We are looking to hire a Technical Lead to join our .NET team. This position is ideal for an experienced hands-on developer who will fully participate in the software development process – design, development, unit testing, and technical documentation. You will use microservices architecture, cloud services (Azure IoT hub, CosmosDB, Redis), CQRS with MediatR, authentication and authorization services with Auth0, and Azure Sphere hardware devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers, a business analyst, and a QA engineer
• Provide technical leadership for enterprise software projects
• Review and analyze business requirements and provide a technical perspective on approach, risk, and estimated development time
• Participate in the architecture, design, planning, and development phases of software production
• Leverage and generate reusable standards to be utilized throughout the platform
• Participate in an established Scrum process and frequently communicate with US-based clients and subject matter experts

Requirements

• Previous experience in a leadership role 
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET 
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (Logic Apps, Azure functions, CosmosDB, Redis, Azure Service Bus, App Insights, etc.)
• Good understanding of CI/CD
• Experience with React is an advantage
• Good understanding of the best coding practices and frequently used design patterns
• Experience in SQL database design and implementation
• Аbility to lead and work in a collaborative, cross-functional, international team environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and desire to see others succeed
• Excellent spoken and written English
