Position Description:
The Director Rural Health Transformation Program is responsible for providing executive leadership to program staff to ensure an efficient, effective process for all agency stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic support, offering analysis and deploying solutions to assist the Chief of Staff and agency leadership. This position will be key in successfully implementing Oklahoma’s Rural Health Transformation Plan. This role requires a visionary leader who can integrate clinical, operational, and community perspectives to deliver measurable improvements in rural health outcomes. The Director will oversee all aspects of program implementation and evaluation and stakeholder engagement to ensure the program’s goals are met on time and within budget.
Position Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Demonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, and the code of ethical behavior.
Reviews relevant budgetary and statistical reports, analyzes findings and makes recommendations for program delivery adjustments.
Responds to program related inquiries from stakeholders, internal and external partners, and the general public.
Leads a project team, participates in personnel activities including recruitment, hiring, discipline and terminations.
Lead the overall planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Rural Health Transformation Program.
